On this World Health Day, when the whole world is fighting against the deadly COVID 19, the students of MEHSANA DISTRICT BANK COLLEGE OF NURSING have contributed their part by creating awareness on the motto: Stay home, stay safe and thus break the chain. As it is rightly said, prevention by severing the chain is the immediate solution. The students have not only preached but practiced the motto. The message has been conveyed by the students from thier respectives homes.

On this International Nurses Day that marks the 200th Birth Anniversary of Florence Nightingale, the Lady with the Lamp, the students taken the pledge as stated by Gujarat Nursing Council to become " OATH CORONA WARRIORS" to fight against the Covid 19 epidemic. As it is rightly said, Nurses dont wait until December to celebrate Make a Difference Day-they make a difference EVERYDAY.

Fourth year B.Sc. Nursing and Second year GNM students celebrated WORLD CANCER DAY at LIONS GENERAL HOSPITAL MEHSANA, by giving health education to patients and their relatives regarding " CANCER AND ITS PREVENTIVE MEASURES." It was actually needed at this hour because of the increasing cases of malignacies among the population.
